Lay Day!
Tournament Day 1! Most boats chose to lay for the first day of the Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament! We did have one Offshore Charter go out and they returned with a Wahoo and Tuna!
Nearshore charters had catches of Ribbonfish and some Red Drum releases!

Blue Marlin Sailfish Wahoos and tunas!
New friends on board from New York today.
Caught a wahoo on the high speed, then a nice 300 pound blue marlin on the High Speed!
Set out and caught a sailfish, then hooked and lost the next 4 sails.
We found new and innovative ways to loose them. The Sailfish had our number today.
Caught a couple blackfin tunas and another wahoo!

Alice Kelly Ladies Tourney
We had the Mulligan’s Gals on board today for the Ladies Tournament.
We had a blue marlin teaser bite and Jeffery successfully hooked him on the 50 pitch.
Chelsea had the blue take her into the backing twice but battled hard for 45 minutes and got the release. about a 350-400 pounder!
Fished around all day and finally had some sail action, with Simone successfully catching and releasing a sailfish!
Great day with some great girls!

Tournament Week!
Well, that is a wrap for the 34th Annual Alice Kelly Billfish Tournament! The ladies had a great day out on the water with 163 boats fishing and (unofficially) 162 billfish released! We want to congratulate all the winners and give a HUGE shoutout to all the sponsors and participants. Tomorrow kicks off registration for the 40th Annual Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament so expect lots of action on the docks over the next few days. We are looking forward to a great tournament!

It’s Our Favorite Time of the Year!
It’s time! Boats are starting to roll in and are beginning to prep for Alice Kelly weekend!!! We had a few boats fishing Offshore today and they had catches of Yellow Fin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Tilefish, Wahoo, and Skip Jacks! Carly A even had 2 Sailfish releases!
