Tuesday Tails!
The Offshore Fleet returned to the docks with boxes full! Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Tilefish, Seabass and Grouper, with Sea Toy releasing a couple Blue Marlins! Nearshore also had a great day with catches of citation sized Cobia, Red Drum releases, and Spanish Mackerel! Outlier, our Inshore boat came back to the docks with great catches of Trout as well!

Dolphin and Tuna!

We had some pretty good action with the bigger dolphin and a few blackfins.
catch of the day was a 49# Bull Dolphin caught on light tackle for a north carolina citation.
Will be going on his wall as well!
we looked around for a blue marlin, we did have a bite but he came off.

Hooked up Blue Marlin
Our old friend Jon on the boat today with local celebrities Turtle, Nathan and Ella
We started out on a change that should have been holing some dolphin but was not for us.
We put out the plugs to cover some ground and shortly after Joe hollers there he is and a 400 pounder eats the short rigger.
14 year old Miss Ella Sneed expertly angled the fish to the leader after am epic battle and Joe got on the wire.
fish was released healthy and Ella was done!
We caught a few deep water bottom fish for dinner.

Great day with good friends
so my son Joe started fishing with me this spring as the mate. Friday was his first day and he still had Sumner as a back up.
Well today he was solo with Cecil, Lisa and friends.
we started out catching a handful of dolphins on the change.
We put out the plugs and started to cover some ground and look around.
a blue marlin ate the long rigger Monkalure triple zeros and the fight was on.
Chris did and excellent job as the angler and after a little while Joe had him on the leader.
Joe had never wired a Blue Marlin before today or any big fish for that matter but he did an excellent job with Cecil as back up and got the lure back and safely released the blue marlin. His first as a mate and Chris’s first as an angler.

Holiday Weekend Fun
Today we saw a ton of people cruising around, enjoying this beautiful weather on their boats! We also had plenty of charters running. The Offshore Fleet returned with a mix of Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi, Tilefish, and Seabass with releases of Blue Marlin and Sailfish! Nearshore charters had nice catches of Cobia and Spanish Mackerel!

Salty Saturday!
It was a foggy day here on the water. The Offshore fleet came back to the docks with Mahi Mahi, citation sized Yellowfin Tuna, Sea Bass, Tilefish, and Amberjacks. Nearshore also had catches of Sea Bass and Tilefish!

Looked far and wide
old friends Paul, David, Bear and Jonathan on board today.
Paul has been fishing on a Bite Me boat for the last 25 years and it is always great to have him and his crew on board.
fishing right now off hatteras is tough.
We got lucky and a float found us and it had 6 dolphins around it.
They caught them all!

Marlin Mania!
Today, our Offshore fleet rolled up to the docks with catches of Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Sea Bass, and Tilefish. Congratulations to Hog Wild who brought back a Blue Marlin weighing in at 428.5lbs! The Nearshore fleet was on top of the Cobia today as well!

Yellowfin Fun!
Today the Offshore Fleet arrived with more citation-sized Yellowfins and Mahi Mahi! Nearshore Charters caught Cobia, Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish! Inshore, the Outlier caught a limit of Trout! Sunny days have come our way!
