Thomas, Patrick and a few of their classmates and dads joined us off shore today.
We took them inshore spanish mack fishing last year and they loved it so them being Middle Schoolers this year we decided to try offshore.
A little squally to start but we started out catching a few dolphins gaffers and bailers.
we decided to high speed troll away from the storm and were rewarded with a wahoo!
the weather stared to break so we came up with an afternoon plan.
We decided to try for some tuna.
took a couple of laps to find them but the bite was on the last couple of hours and the boys and dads caught a nice mess of blackfin tunas in the 10-15 pound range. multiple bites at a time was a little hectic for them but they got it done!
