Surf fishing on the Outer Banks today we have heard of sea mullet, flounder, black drum, bluefish, and catching mackerel. The mackerel and bluefish have mainly been caught on jig fish. Our inshore charters are doing great with mackerel, bluefish, and a few large red drum. Our sound charters are catching lots of bottom fish, flounder, and some red drum. Our offshore charters yesterday did really good with lots of mahi, tuna, and billfish. Water temp is 84 degrees. Winds are ESE at 6 knots. Picture of Kenzie with a spadefish she caught on Avalon pier.
