The uses of a QR Code (Quick Response) are many. We discussed how real estate sales and rental agencies might use them. We also discussed car dealers and others. However, Island Limo – one of our new clients – added theirs to their Beach Book ad. You can place one on your store front so people can see your menu, hours of operation or any other information quickly. You can add it to your business card and link to a YouTube video or your website. You can create a business card and add the QR Code to a rack card to save space and allow people to store the info in their mobile device. In addition, it is eco friendly and can go a long way in replacing redundant paper items. Your imagination is the limit.

Remember,  your website can automatically produce QR Codes for each page or blog post. If you simply want to make your own there are many places to do that on the web. You can even use our .org site by clicking here. The generator is on the left side below the Registration and Log In area.

How much information they can hold? The answer seems to depend upon the size. For example, a QR Code that is 177 x 177 pixels wide can hold up to 4,296 characters according to Wikipedia.
