Fishing on the surf so far today has been good. Most folks are catching plenty of bluefish, sea mullet, and few speckle trout. Next high tide today is at 2:42pm. The sounds are full of speckle trout and croakers. Inshore charters getting plenty of flounder and bluefish. Offshore charters are getting gaffer dolphin, tuna, and scattered white marlin. Offshore fishing has been good with lots of dolphin scattered tuna and billfish. Inshore fishing has also been good with plenty of bluefish. Surf fishing in duck we have been catching sea mullet, blues, and some big black drum. Water temp in Duck is 66 degrees, NE wind 15-20. Next high tide is at 8:03 pm. Continue reading

Surf Fishing so far today has been pretty good. We have been catching sea mullet, skates, and bluefish. Our offshore charters are getting good numbers of tuna and dolphin. Inshore charters we are catching bluefish, and tautog. Next High tide is at 3:46pm and low will be at 9:44pm. Continue reading
So far today fishing on the surf has been great. Good numbers of bluefish being caught on small fireball rigs with cut mullet and also catching some on small lures as well. We are still getting plenty of puffers and nice size sea mullet. Surf has calmed down alot. High tide today is at 9:46pm low tide is at 3:02pm. Continue reading
Surf Fishing has been pretty good with lots of puffers, sea mullet, croakers, and lots of bluefish up to 3 pounds in the evenings. We have weighed  3 black drum this week, a 10 pounder, 13 pounder, and a 15 pounder. So there is some bigger black drum in the surf. Offshore fishing still catching yellowfin tuna and scattered sailfish. Inshore charters we have been catching big tautog and sea bass. Dave on Reel Attitude caught some over 5 pounds this past week. Hi Guys,   Here’s two pics of my son Alex who landed a 10 lb Black Drum right off the beach in front of the Barrier Island Station resort last Wednesday. Today we have heard of lots of good size sea mullet, croakers, and a few trout mixed in. We did have a 7 pound bluefish brought in today using finger mullet. Offshore still good tuna action. Inshore lots of dog sharks and a few blues. Freshwater fishing has been good with lots of sun fish, bream, and some bass on the warmer days. Sage’s first fish. Continue reading
Fishing on the surf has improved with very nice size sea mullet, croakers, and speckle trout. Still catching dogfish also. Full day charters doing well on yellowfin tuna, scattered dolphin and sails. Inshore catching lots of dogsharks and a few blues. On the sound we have had lots of trout being caught as well. Continue reading

We are now open seven days a week. Surf fishing on the northern beaches, we have been catching dog shark, and some good size croakers using squid and mullet. That has been about it. Hopefully things will start to improve soon. Offshore still some bluefin and few yellowfin tuna. Continue reading

Thank you to everyone who came to our thanksgiving sale and oyster roast, was a great time once again. Surf fishing has been kind of slow with small sharks and a few speckle trout. We did have a 26 inch puppy drum brought into the store today caught off the surf with cut mullet. In the sound we have been getting a few specks and small black drum especially in kitty hawk bay. Around the bridges we have had a hand full of rock caught. Offshore fishing has been good with lots of yellowfin and king mackerel. Surf Fishing in Duck today has improved with fair catches of speckle trout. Few puppy drum mixed in with lots of small sharks if using cut mullet for bait. Rock fishing in the sounds have been poor. There has been some rock caught at the Currituck bridge. Rock fish has also been caught at oregon inlet cat walk. Continue reading

 Surf Fishing has been good with lots of spot, croakers, black drum, and blues still. Water temp is 66 degrees with a sw wind at 15-20. Plenty of small speckle trout with a few keepers also being caught. Our half day and full day charters have been doing well this week.
