Smokey Joe’s Cafe is a musical revue showcasing some of Americans most popular pop standards, including rock and roll, and rhythm and blues songs written by songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. They not only found the sweet spot between smooth pop and raw blues, they also were among the first songwriters to produce their own songs. Great songs like “On Broadway” Spanish Harlem” Kansas City” and You Ain’t Nothing but a Hound Dog” come to life in exciting dance numbers and wonderful singing. The Original Broadway cast recording, Smokey Joe’s Cafe: the Songs of Leiber and Stoller won a Grammy award in 1996. Smokey Joe’s Cafe leads the audience on a musical journey and transforms classic pop music from the 50′s and 60′s into compelling musical theatre.  Tickets are $10 adults and 6-12 years old- $5. 5 and under are free.
