Holiday Dinner on Hatteras Island Dec 3 starting at 6PM

A festive community holiday dinner is set for 6 pm at the Rodanthe – Salvo – Waves Community Center on Hatteras Island.
Community volunteers will decorate the villages’ community building for the dinner and holiday season. Sponsored by the rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Community Building board and hosted by the villages’ civic association, the evening features a wonderful dinner and special music.
Community cooks are preparing ham and turkey for the gathering. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish or dessert.
The Rev. Jim Bliss will again lead the community in holiday singing.
For the last several years when the community sings Santa Claus is Coming to Town, the magical man has appeared to listen to wishes for the holiday season. The Christmas song is again on the program. Santa also brings gifts for all.
All community residents are invited to participate.
Bring a donation for the food pantry to the dinner.
